Cambridge     

Arrive this morning in London, grab your rental car and head north to Cambridge.

Discover the allure of Cambridge University, a world-leading academic institution steeped in history and tradition. From the historic architecture to the vibrant student life, experience the rich culture and academic excellence that has attracted visitors from all around the world.

​

Visit the chapel at St James College, stroll through Market Square and the Botanical gardens & enjoy Evensong at King's College before enjoying dinner in a traditional English Pub.

Thursday June 20, 2024 - Day 2 - Cotswolds.      

Bath & Stonehenge 

A visit to Stonehenge is a journey through time. The awe-inspiring megaliths have puzzled historians and tourists alike for centuries. And you will have the opportunity to experience it from INSIDE the circle watching the Sunset on the Summer Solstice!  This once in a lifetime experience is sure to be nothing short of MAGICAL!

Nestled in the heart of England lies the stunning Cotswolds region. Spend the morning driving through thesepicturesque towns and villages dating back hundreds of years, and rolling hillsides.  Stop for tea for a true taste of traditional English life.

 Friday Jun 21, 2024 - Day 3                                   

Bath & Dublin  

After spending the day exploring Bath, head back to London before flying to Dublin this evening.

Arrive in Dublin and grab a pint before calling it a night!

Bath, UK is a picturesque city filled with awe-inspiring architecture and stunning natural beauty. From the incredible Roman Baths to the magnificent Pulteney Bridge, there is something new to discover around every corner. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this charming city while enjoying the many shops, restaurants, and delightful cafes.

 Saturday, Jun 22, 2024 - Day 4  - Ireland

Dublin & Kilmainham Gaol       

Today  you will enjoy your 1916 Irish Rebellion Tour***. Your guide will escort you on a private tour of the key sites of the Easter Rising, the 1916 rebellion in Dublin against British rule in Ireland, helping you gain an appreciation and understanding of this historic occasion which precipitated the formation of the Irish Republic.

 

Then you will visit of Kilmainham Gaol, a 19th century prison which now serves as a museum and monument to the patriots who fought in the Easter rising of 1916. As you are guided through the gaol, learn about the political and cultural struggles of the various eras in Ireland’s history and how the type of prisoners correlated with the politics and economic strife of each period.

This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel.

​

This evening celebrate the Epic 80th Birthday Celebration Dinner with a 3 course dinner at 10 Fleet Street Restaurant and Bar at the Morgan Hotel.

Sunday Jun 23, 2024 - Day 5 - Isle of Man             

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then head to the ferry port for your trip to the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man is a breathtakingly beautiful destination known for its stunning landscapes and rich history. One of the best ways to take it all in is by taking a ride on one of the island's iconic steam trains. Whether you're admiring the scenery or just enjoying the experience of travelling by steam train, a trip to the Isle of Man is incomplete without this unique adventure.

Monday June 24, 2024 - Day 6  - Isle of Man        

Take the opposite direction on a different kind of train and enjoy the Electric Train taking you north.  Hit Laxey and then head up to the top of Snaefell Mountain, where on a clear day you can see England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland! 

 

After taking in the view, head back to town to grab the ferry to Liverpool and then grab the evening train to London!

Tuesday June 25, 2024 - Day 7  - England            

London  - Day 1

Today discover the beauty and history of London! Start with a stroll through St. James park on your way to see the Changing of the Guards in front of Buckingham Palace.  Continue through Hyde Park on your way to Kensington Palace. 

 

Next you will head towards the Thames with stops at Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.   Cross the Thames to take a ride on the London Eye.  Head back over the Thames, walking through the famous Trafalgar Square on your way to SOHO to enjoy the evening restaurant hopping in one of the 'foodiest' sections of London.

Wednesday June 26, 2024 - Day 8  - England       

London - Day 2 

Houses of Parliament

Continue your London experience... Immerse yourself in the city's rich history and culture, with iconic landmarks like the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge.  Take a river cruise on the Thames on your way to the National Portrait Gallery.  

 

Take a break from the sight seeing for a King's College tour, then head to the Covent Garden section of the city for some shopping - the area was a trading spot as early as Saxon times (6th century).  Walk through the Apple Market and Neal's Yard.  After a long day of exploring grab some of the best Fish & Chips at one of the local taverns.

Thursday June 27, 2024 - Day 9  - Paris,  France

Day 1 

Eiffel Tower Paris

Paris is the city of love, romance, and exquisite art. This morning you will take the high-speed train from London to Paris where you will journey through beautiful landscapes and into the beating heart of this fabulous city.

​

Today you will follow the Day 1 Itinerary on the map below and visit places like the Arc de Triomphe, Jardin du Palais Royal, The Louvre Pyramid and the Champ de Mars.  Along the way you should be able to spot two Statues of Liberty as well as the Flame of Liberty!

Friday June 28, 2024 - Day 10  -  Paris  - Day 2.    

Notredame

Continue exploration of Paris.  Today start at the famous Catacombs.  After that, take the metro to Hotel de Ville and head around the corner to grab a Monseur Croquet before visiting the breathtaking Sainte-Chapelle.  Next head back underground to the Crypte Archéologique de l'Ä°le de la Cité under the famous Notre Dame. 

 

Then head across the Seine to the Sainte Germain des Pres area to visit Shakespeare & Company, the Jardin du Luxemborg as well as walking the campuses of Sorbonne University and Lycee Henri IV, part of PSL University before ending your night with a wonderful fondue dinner at L'Assiette aux Fromage!

Saturday June 29, 2024 - Day 11  - Paris - Day 3  

Sacred Heart of Paris

Packed with sights and sounds, start the day at the famous Basilica of Sacre Coeur, with amazing views of the city.  Head around the corner to Place du Tertre and grab some fresh Macaroons to snack on while watching the artist create masterpieces on the streets of Paris.

​

Walk the Montmatre area and see places like the Vigne du Clos, the Montmatre Cemetery & the famous Moulin Rouge.  Continue to head south, stopping at the Galeries Lafayette Rooftop with it's comanding view of the city.  Next head to some off the beaten path stops like the Passage des Panoramas and the Librairie Jousseaume.  Finish the night with a cruise of the River Seine.

Sunday June 30, 2024 - Day 12  - France               

Mont Saint-Michel  

Mont Saint Michel

Set against a backdrop of stunning natural beauty, Mont Saint Michel is a beautiful work of art that has been cherished for centuries. The abbey is a true masterpiece of gothic architecture, and it offers a unique and awe-inspiring experience to all who visit.

Watch the sun set, and watch it rise again while listening to the monks and nuns sing their morning lauds and watching the tides rush from 15km away!

Monday July 1, 2024 - Day 13  - France               

Mont Saint-Michel & Giverny

After your beautiful and peaceful morning at Mont Saint-Michel, head out against the tide of tourists.  Drive across the countryside to the village of Giverny.​

Visit the home and gardens of Claude Monet, where he lived and painted for more than 40 years. Take a walking tour of the charming village and discover all the hidden gems that make it unique. Indulge in the local cuisine and wines, and experience all the best that Normandy has to offer.   

​

Head to your hotel to enjoy your last night along the River Seine.

Tuesday July 2, 2024  - Day 14  - Depart for USA    

Return the rental car and head to the airport to return to the USA!
